My Portfolio

On this page is a showcase of the work I participated in. This slide covers Tracks/Songs I've produced and recording sessions I have either ran or shadowed.

Recordings and Mixes

From February of 2024 onwards I have been recording clients professionally in a studio environment and mixing their tracks for release.  I have recorded these tracks in many different ways. One way I have approached a recording is with an isolated technique where all instruments are recorded separately and recorded over the instrument layers from before (the standard practice).  Another way, which I have found bands to prefer, is a live setting where most-or in some cases all-instruments are recorded simultaneously  at the same time.

Isolated

Everything played and recorded in isolation helps to make sure the track is well balanced and given everything the best opportunity to be mixed without bleed.

March 21st 2024. The recording of Peace (Live) for SUGS. The microphones on this set were strategically placed to ensure as little bleed as possible. As well as the microphone placement, the management of wires had to be discreet as it was being recorded as a music video.

DAW's Used

The software we use at Eclectic Recordings is predominately Logic Pro, which is apple based. We have been exposed to Pro Tools and how to record a band with that (during the recording of Jude's Interlude and Peace for SUGS). Moving forward our skills will be enhanced therefore allowing us to assist questions within the specific DAW.
